Here you can find all the practical information you need for your visit to the Cheese Warehouse.


The VVV-store is completely accessible for wheelchair users. There is also a wheelchair friendly toilet present in the store.
The Cheese warehouse is partly accessible for wheelchair users. To go to the first floor where the cheeses are stored, you have to climb a steep staircase. Wheelchair users and people with limited mobility could have problems with that.

Destination: Woerden station

From the Woerden station you can take the following busses:
Bus 101 destination Nieuwkoop, get off at stop: Westdam
Bus 5 destination Molenvliet via Centrum, get off at stop: Westdam
Bus 724 destination Bodegraven, get off at stop: Westdam

From the Westdam it’s approximately 2 minutes walking to the Cheese Warehouse.

VVV Woerden/Cheese Warehouse is a 10 minute walk from Woerden station. By bicycle it is approximately 5 minutes. You can do this with the help of a map. (See map)

There are parking spaces in front of the Cheese Warehouse and around the area. These are public parking spaces for which a payment has to be made. At the end of the street there is a parking meter.

It is possible to pay with cash and with an European debit card. We don’t accept credit cards.
At the end of the street there is an ING Bank where you can withdraw cash (approx. 1 minute walking).
